The Marvelous Kippah is based on the true story of my father-in-law's family history and how each family member wearing the kippah felt comfort, strength, and hope when needed. Buddy's grandfather packed only a few belongings on the long, harsh boat trip immigrating from Lithuania to Ellis Island but most important was the kippah given to him by his grandfather. It made him feel like his grandfather was watching over him. This multigenerational, heartwarming tale shares how Buddy's family holds together like the threads of the kippah. The kippah holds many memories and helps the family to survive as they face harsh times.
